A FALL ESCAPE TO PEI
There's
just so much to love about fall on Prince Edward Island. That beautiful
scenery. The same theatre, golf, cycling trails, lobster suppers and
everything wonderful about the Island. Without the summer crowds, without
the summer heat, without the summer pace. The Island's brilliant foliage,
its cool, fragrant air and lots of fall activities -- both indoor and out
– make PEI the perfect fall escape.

Plan
to attend the Prince
Edward Island International Shellfish Festival, September 17-19, on
Charlottetown's Historic Waterfront. This three-day festival celebrates
the Island's world-famous shellfish with lots of food, fun and
entertainment. With events like the Paderno PEI Chowder Challenge, the
PEI Oyster Shucking Championship and the Go Deep International Tie One On
Mussel Championship, it's no wonder the Festival is now one of the
biggest in Atlantic Canada!

fresh produce and traditional baking we’re famous for. During
your visit, why not create your own tip-to-tip dining tour and
enjoy a little bit of everything?
Starting in the West, stop at The Pier Restaurant near
Alberton, make a stop in Summerside at the Brothers Two
Restaurant, head to Charlottetown to St. James’ Gate or the
new upstairs deck at Lobster on the Wharf. Continuing
eastward, enjoy a meal overlooking the Confederation Trail at
the Trailside Inn, Café and Adventures in Mount Stewart, enjoy
a tasty treat at Rick’s Fish ‘n Chips and Seafood House in St.
Peters and dine in style at The Inn at Bay Fortune. Not full
yet? Head south to Montague and relax on the deck of Windows
on the Water or Brehaut’s Restaurant in the fishing village of
Murray Harbour.
